|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-25-00485Zora (female)|
My son had Zora, 2.5 yo, since she was a puppy. He has been unable to take her with him to Alaska, where he works. Unfortunately, as much as I love this beautiful dog, she does not fit in with my household. Zora tries to play with my tiny, fragile, elderly dogs--not understanding she is too aggressive. Mother was a multi-generation pure bred black shepherd, father was a Dutch Shepherd mix. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She is very affectionate and eager to please. She loves some dogs but not others so would probably be best as only dog. She does well with older kids but is too energetic for little ones. She loves to play ball and frisbee, run, swim, loves snow, and going for adventures in the woods. She is intelligent and is a great problem solver. She is highly trainable but my son treated her more as an adventure buddy rather than helping her learn to be a good citizen. Someone who is active and can keep her well-exercised would be perfect. She is housebroken, knows commands--cage, sit, down, shake, find it, drop it, leave it, stay, and out. She has a large cage, leash, halter, Gentle Leader, mesh muzzle, some toys and a bag of her grain free food. (Less)
