     Holly Found a new home. She has two new dog friends to play with her. Her new owners are going to train her to be a social dog with counseling teenagers. Thank you, Rescue Me!

     After adopting two older dogs from the Rescue Me postings several years ago, my husband and I decided to keep browsing the site in hopes of finding a younger dog to fill their prints when they reach the end of their days. We live on a small farm and need a good watchdog on the premises at all times to bark when something is amiss. The right dog is hard to come by, but the minute we saw Odie, we knew he was the one. We were thrilled when his people notified us that we had been selected from the line of applicants who also recognized his wonderfulness. He is a true joy and incredibly smart. We're also very grateful that his people took the time to see to it that he had some good, basic training. It has served us all in good stead! Odie loves his new home and his older doggie companions, and gets along with the kitties indoors. Outdoors, he still needs work in that regard, but we are confident he will come along in the future. Overall, we could not be more pleased, not only with this adoption, but also with the others that we have found through Rescue Me. God bless you for the wonderful service!

     I am proud to say that Duke has found a wonderful home with a loving and caring beautiful woman, whom I know will not spare the hugs and praise he needs.      We rescued Sunflower from the shelter. Thanks to Rescue Me, we found her a perfect home where she will be herding sheep and living the good life with her new adoptive family. They are wonderful people that truly care about rescuing animals. She was such a good dog and a service dog candidate. She will move to a place where she can thrive. It is so worth it to save an animal from being euthanized because they take up too much space. I love her new family! and thank you for helping animals all over! Rescue Me is a wonderful organization!

     I found this precious baby on Rescue Me and pursued her to the point of driving over 300 miles to get her! She is even more beautiful than her picture and a little lover! Thank you for posting her on your site. She now has a loving home for life! As an aside, while we were at the County Animal Control, we also adopted a male black lab mix puppy. So two pups now have the life they deserve! May the day come when your service is no longer needed. Thank you again!

     We placed our dog, Maizy on Rescue Me! to find her a good home. It was a very difficult thing for us as we loved her very much but had two alpha Dutch Shepherds in the same house and it wasn't working for them. Both awesome dogs but needed their own domain. After about three weeks of putting her picture and story on Rescue Me! we started getting calls from Dutchie lovers interested in her. We found a perfect home for her, not far from our home. She now lives with another Dutchie lover and a male Dutchie that is the spitting image of her former female Dutchie sister. This site was a God send for us because we really wanted someone that understood and loved the breed. Thank you to Jeff Gold and the Rescue Me! team. This site made it a lot easier for us. And thank you to Jeff and Pi for welcoming Maizy so lovingly and patiently into your home! We feel lucky all the way around.

     I took in Bella, a Dutch Shepherd almost a year ago. The shelters near me would have put her down. She looked aggressive and was dreadfully shy. While living with me she became accustomed to living with cats and dogs. She had regular visitors to help break her shyness. When I started to look for a home for her a lot of interest came but no one had the right stuff. I had to be choosey. She was a sweet and loving dog with a running personality. So finally a lovely lady came to meet her and it was love at first site. For both of them. Bella went home with her for a trial period, fell in love with the other dogs and the nice fenced yard her new mommy has. She completely ignored her new kitty siblings. Her new mommy said she would not give her up for the world, Bella is the perfect fit for her family.
